This is a personal project I have wanted to work on since I began surfing in middle school. I started working on the board in my Grandfather’s shop last summer. So far, I have independently designed, shaped, and begun the glassing process. The main emphasis was on the shaping process, where symmetry and precision were paramount. This project shows an understanding of form and material properties.
